Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality, North Little Rock, Arkansas
One of the most notable and sustainable projects accomplished by TME is the Arkansas Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) Headquarters Building located in North Little Rock. From the outset, ADEQ's goal was to become the first "green" state government facility in Arkansas and to be the first state building to achieve dual certification through both the LEED and Green Globes rating systems. TME's role in the project consisted of MEP and Fire Protection Engineering Design; Commissioning; Energy Modeling; Measurement and Verification; Construction Administration; and LEED and Green Globes Consulting.

This brand new, state-of-the-art, six story facility has been officially recognized for LEED-NC v2.1 Gold certification by the USGBC. Additionally, the facility has also achieved a Three (3) Green Globes plaque award for "Demonstrating Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Practices and a Commitment to Continuous Improvement and Industry Leadership."
William J. Clinton Presidential Center and Park, Little Rock, Arkansas
TME's commissioning of this project began in the design phase with the peer review. As the project moved into the construction phase, our commissioning efforts focused on project coordination, site observation, witnessing of tests, and execution of the commissioning plan. Construction of the project is nearly complete, and TME has entered the warranty phase of our commissioning efforts. During this phase, TME will provide a plan for the resolution of outstanding commissioning related issues to be resolved within one year of completed construction. This process includes reviewing building operations and procedures with the Clinton Presidential Center and Park operations and maintenance staff.
Fort Smith Main Library, Fort Smith, Arkansas
TME provided MEPFP design and construction administration services for this $11.0 million (70,000 square feet) new facility for the Fort Smith Library in Fort Smith, Arkansas. The project involved the design of a new main library that provided space for book stacks, historical archives, periodicals, meeting rooms, study areas, and office space. Construction for this project was completed in 2002.
