Hendrix College, Conway, Arkansas  |
| TME provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering services and construction administration for a new $16.1 million Wellness and Athletics Center at Hendrix College located in Conway, Arkansas. This new 106,000 SF facility includes a 1,100 seat event gymnasium, a two court recreational gymnasium with jogging track, fitness center, indoor swimming pool, climbing wall, athletic training center, equipment storage, multipurpose classroom, locker rooms, meeting rooms, and office space. Construction of this project was completed in September of 2007. This project is featured in the June 2008 Athletic Business magazine as part of the 2008 Architectural Showcase. Lyon College, Batesville, Arkansas  |
| TME provided MEPFP design and construction administration services for this $9.6 million new facility (52,000 square feet) for Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas. The project was designed in 2001. Phase 1 of the construction was completed in 2002, and Phase II of the project was completed in 2003. This project involved the construction of teaching laboratories, classrooms, and office space. |
New Residence Halls at Maple Hill - Phases I, II, and III, University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, Arkansas  |
| TME provided mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and structural engineering design and construction administration services for this new residence hall complex at the University of Arkansas. The project provided for the construction of two (2) 5-story student resident housing buildings with a commons area. Each residence hall houses 351 beds and has five (5) floors. Overall construction cost for this project was approximately $50 million. |
University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, Little Rock, Arkansas  |
| TME provided MEPFP design and construction administration services for this $14.1 million three story addition to the Education III Building (127,000 square feet) for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. This project involved the construction of office space and support spaces. The project was designed in 2001 and was completed in 2004. |
Energy Consulting Services, University of Louisiana Systems |
TME Energy Services was selected by the University of Louisiana System to provide an assessment of the energy procurement procedures at eight different member universities. These universities include: Louisiana Tech University, University of Louisiana at Monroe, Grambling State University, Northwestern State University, University of Louisiana at Lafayette, Nicholls State University, McNeese State University, and Southeastern Louisiana University. The annual energy cost for the Universities exceeded $23 Million. The scope of work included: historical utility bill audits, identification of billing errors, recovery of billing errors, implementation of aggregated energy procurement, identification or preferred risk management procedures, implementation of risk management procedures, rate analysis, rate optimization, utility negotiations, Louisiana Public Service Commission review, and competitive procurement of energy supplies. TME's effort resulted in over $50,000 in billing error refunds, identified over $500,000 in annual utility cost savings, and over $700,000 in avoided capital cost. |
